ClearStream granted CE Marking for latest PTCA catheter for the treatment of coronary chronic total occlusions
10.07.09 - ClearStream today announces that it has completed the CE Marking of its latest state-of-theart PTCA catheter for treating chronic total occlusions (CTOs) in the coronary vasculature. This new product, the FlexeCTO, is a 0.014" over-the-wire balloon catheter platform
specifically designed to be the initial catheter used during the angioplasty procedure in cases where the blockage in the artery is more distal or where arteries are more tortuous.

New software module: Appendectomy
The first launch of the Appendectomy module will include the Loop technique where the user can simulate different kind of changes in pathology (appendicitis complications, size, etc.). Later this year the second phase of the module will include stapling technique.
