Founder & Cheaf Executive Officer
Mr. Aldo Cerruti founded ab medica in 1984. Prior to founding the company, Mr. Cerruti had a long tenure with Bosa Medical where he was highly instrumental in introducing the company’s pioneering technologies in Cardiac Surgery. As the founder and CEO of ab medica, Mr. Cerruti has built a leading international company, based on an unsurpassed reputation for its customer care and exceptional partnerships with companies that are shaping the future of medicine. Mr. Cerruti has led the introduction of Robotic Surgery and Stereotactic Surgery in Italy, respectively with the daVinci and CyberKnife technologies.
In his free time, Mr. Cerruti is a great fan of car racing, golfing and motorcycling.




Marco Reale
Vice President Sales & Marketing
Mr. Reale joined ab medica in 1987. He has held numerous management roles in directing the sales and marketing efforts of leading medical device technologies. Mr. Reale has contributed to the introduction of a vast number of innovative technologies in fields including Cardiology, Neuroradiology, Radiology, Anesthesiology, and Intensive Care. Mr. Reale’s in-depth clinical knowledge and strong abilities in establishing successful sales organizations have driven the success of ab medica and its partners.
In his free time, Mr. Reale highly enjoys bicycling.




Filippo Pacinotti
Vice President Sales & Marketing
Mr. Pacinotti joined ab medica in 1994. Mr. Pacinotti has held increasing responsibilities in sales, product management and business development. Prior to ab medica, Mr. Pacinotti worked with leading corporations such USSC Autosuture (a TYCO company) and Schneider (presently Boston Scientific). Over the last ten years, Mr. Pacinotti has gained in-depth expertise in multiple market segments and applications of MIS Robotic Surgery and Stereoatatic Radiosurgery. Mr. Pacinotti has led many impressive successful market introductions of pioneering companies including, Origin Medsystems, Intuitive Surgical and Accuray.
In his free time, Mr. Pacinotti enjoys his long-time passions: motorcycling and sailing.




Luigia Barbieri
CFO & Personnel Director
Ms. Barbieri joined ab medica in 1986. Prior to ab medica, Ms. Barbieri spent over fifteen years with medium-sized sector-leading companies, such as Vitamins spa Institute (Roche Group) and Tessitura Majocchi spa. At ab medica, Ms. Barbieri has developed strong experience in various medical market segments with roles of increasing responsibilities. Ms. Barbieri leads the company’s financial and administrative operations.
Ms. Barbieri highly enjoys mountain sports: hiking and cross-country skiing.
