ab medica investments:
1. Partnerships for research and technologies of the future
- ETH in Zurich, for the use of patents relating to the production of an biocompatible elastic degradable polymer and designed for medical applications, tissue culture and tissue engineering
- University of Ferrara, with participation in patent rights on a molecule against urinary incontinence.
- EndoGastricSolutions, for the introduction in Europe of the first product for Endoluminal Surgery (totally not-invasive) which is now the new frontier of surgery.
2. Technical assistance and knowledge building in advanced robotics
The objective is to maintain the primacy reached and become increasingly effective interlocutors in Robotic Surgery and in general for the minimally and not-invasive surgery techniques.
3. Market leadership with self production
Medical Labs in Cantù, a company controlled by ab medica, has started in 2005 the production of kits for different procedures, and medical products of exclusive project and design, ab medica is the first Italian company for kits sold .
4. Education and training for doctors
ab medica participates in many medical conferences each year, both in Italy and abroad, to spread the knowledge of new technologies, for which it promotes the use through continues organization of workshops, seminars and meetings with users.
